Aura
The unseen force that shapes Auropia.
Aura (Aura) is an energy possessed by living creatures in Auropia. A person's ability to use aura depends on both their natural capacity and their learned control.
It flows through the body, connects to the world around it, and forms much of the Lysian society; from healing and craftmansship to power and politics.
Aura and Biology
The ability to develop aura is an inherited biological trait, but it remains dormant unless a person is exposed to enough ambient aura.
Aura users also release aura into their surroundings. Over time, this creates a feedback loop where aura-rich environments produce more aura users, who then make the environment even richer in aura.
Brands
A brand is an engraving placed directly upon a person's aura. The visible scar left on the body is only a physical consequence of the deeper mark.
Brands are powered by the branded person's own aura. Because of this, suppressing the flow of aura can weaken a brand's influence, although doing so for too long can be dangerous.
Aura Stones
Aura stones are gemstones whose crystal structures allow them to carry and interact with aura.
Stones with regular, well-ordered crystal structures are generally the most suitable.
The three classifications
The Kruna is the highest denomination of currency in the Lysian Empire. Each coin is carved from a specific type of aura stone, giving every Kruna the same maximum aura capacity. Unlike ordinary currency, its value lies not only in what it can purchase, but also in the aura it can store.
Kruna
Currency of the Empire
Aura gems are naturally occurring stones capable of storing aura. They vary greatly in
appearance, material, and capacity, with some holding considerably more aura than others. Unlike
Kruna or rune stones, they have no predetermined function, making them versatile resources for
storing and supplying aura.
It should also be noted that both Kruna and Rune stones are cut from specific types of Aura Gems.

Power in Its Natural Form
Rune stones, commenly refurred to as Metimur stones, are aura stones engraved with special runes that alter how their stored aura behaves. Each rune serves a specific purpose, such as igniting a fire or rendering an opponent unconscious. By supplying the necessary aura, even those with limited control can perform feats that would otherwise require considerable skill.
